tweez: extension for kui tagging in firefox 3

Tweez is a simple keyboard-oriented extension to Firefox 3 that allows you to rapidly tag the page currently visible.

Install

  • Requires Firefox 3 Beta 2 or greater.
  • Shift+T to tag
  • Esc or Enter to leave

Tweez is a hacky low-budget attempt to scratch an itch. Expect bugs, especially focus problems. Maybe someday it’ll be cool like Alex’s vision.

This is nice. (No, it doesn’t look as polished as Alex’s mash-up, but still not as cheap as you said it is.)
However, could you enable a different shortcut, please? (Shift-T is what one normally uses to produce a capital T, it therefore comes second best when competing with Find-as-you-type or any currently active input field.)

I just wanted to share a problem/solution with this extension that I had. The folders to Tags function didnt work (Firefox 18.0.2), and the error console logged the error with libraryOverlay.js line 71 the call to asContainer(). I just added the PlacesUtils.asContainer() and it seems to work fine now. I love the extension btw.
